Great comparison, i would like to add that for CMDRs who only just ahve 60mil the FDL is a much better option, due to its speed, heavy sheilding and better resistance against large wings of small ships(NPC most likely). However the Python very quikcly outmatches the FDL after 65mil, and the loss of switching ships at 70 would put you back by about 5~6 mil, so ultimately the Python is a beter investment, as it becomes stroger is more multipurpose and the Python's hardpoint layout is far more effiecient (would highly recomend 3 x S3 gimlbeld burst lasers with 2 x S2 gimbeld multicannons).
