This article needs to be updated/changed in the part where it says "However, like all large ships, the Corvette has a fairly notable Achilles heel, in this case being its defenses. The combined shield and armour health of the Corvette is the lowest of its price tier, being outdone by the Type-10, Anaconda, and Cutter, and when combined with its large flat body pilots can find the ship's defenses to be quite quickly taken down by heavily armed ships. The Corvette, therefore, sacrifices protection for damage". This is because even with "equal" unmodded builds it outclasses the type 10 (vette, type 10) and with fully maxed/engineered builds it has stronger defenses than the anaconda and type 10 second only to the cutter (vette, conda, cutter, and type 10) with the raw values added together in order of above equalling 18634, 17093, 20365, and 15033. This doesn't even take into account the vette's ability to mount larger more potent scb's than the conda and type 10 with total scb healthpool mj's (when using size 6 or above which are the only sizes that work for shields this big)- vette (11283), conda (6260), cutter (12525), and type 10 (5642). This last calculation was based on specialised scb's with boss cell special effect. Compiling all this data I think it would be a reasonable conclusion to say that the vette is second only to the cutter in terms of large ship defenses. On a final note, I realise that no one would ever use builds like this with no mrp's/resistance stacking but I wanted to make the comparison as fair as possible that's why I worked it the way I did. TLDR: This article should be updated to reflect that the vette is second only to the cutter in defensive capabilities.
