If you get a 50% boost, it's 1.5x, right? Initial value plus half, 1 + 0.5 = 1.5.
If you get a 100% boost, it's doubled. Initial value plus itself.
If you gat a 300% boost, you're adding 3 times the initial value, so it's 4x.
