Funny question:
After spending most of my career as a free agent, I recently decided to rank up with the Federal Navy in order to test out their ships. Now gaining ranks within a faction gets you travel permits for systems controlled by that faction, I understand how this works. What I would like to know is how I got a permit for Achenar of all places.
I don't have any ranks with the Imperial Navy. I don't really spend that much time in Imperial space and haven't taken on any ranking missions for them. As far as I know I am as neutral as neutral can be with the Empire.
Am I missing something?
I've reached the rank of Lieutenant with the Federal Navy, and yet I have a system permit for the Imperial Capitol. does anyone know how this might have happened? Just curious.
