Manually hunting for Irregular markers can be very inefficient and time consuming. A recommended way to source them is via mission reward. Travel to an Anarchy system with a substantial amount of on foot settlement. Then go to a station and filter the available missions for "material".

Missions found at stations rewarded 3 to 8 plans. The reward increases if the mission is illegal
