I found a white dwarf of the "DQ" subclass in sector LAWD 27. The description is identical to that of the "DA" white dwarf, except for the last sentence which states that it has a carbon rich atmosphere. We could assume that the rumored "DC" class dwarves contain an atmosphere of another type.
