For sure it wont be that great in combat because of its manoeuvrability, both the corvette and cutter have pros and cons, in my opinion the cutter has better hardpoints and the corvette has better manoeuvrability, you cant have both that just would be just to much overkill in my opinion.
So pro corvette; manoeuvrability con; hardpoints and internals.
pro cutter; hardpoints and internals con; manoeuvrability.
Thats quite balanced I'd say.
that being said the cutter having strategically better placed hardpoints would be overkill in that way because it would have to much advantage over the corvette because of the better internals.
