If you're thinking about getting a Cutter, be mindful that it isn't truely multipurpose, that is if you want to excell. For mining, trading, and smuggling the Cutter is the way to go, but if you want to explore or do anything combat related it's just best to stick with the Clipper, keeping the Cutter only as a form of physical trophy.
It's good that the devs didn't make these super cruisers true jacks of all trades; it keeps it so that players who can afford them don't feel like they have to stick with them all the time for maximum perfrmance in their trade.
