This has better shields than a Python. Armed with four forward pulse lasers and a class 4 plasma it can deal w any npcs easily. The class 4 is not good for small ships but you don't need it, the four lasers deal with anything smaller than Asp. The alpha strike with the plasma will one shot most small ships, including some cobras, which helps when you bounty hunting and the bad guy allows you to just sail up and blast him after your scan is done, one shot one kill.
