When you are in a starport click on the "commodities market" then navigate to your desired commodity and on the right side of your screen there will be a buy or sell button. click on sell and keep clicking untill you have the desired amount selected then click where it (i believe) says "confirm transaction". Once you've done it a couple of times you will figure it out. Hope this helps!
