Engineered G5 dirty drag drives completely mitigate the maneuverability issue, and it can have a fairly tanky Hull and respectable shields, but it's still going to be inferior to an engineered Cobra Mk III or either of the Vipers, with the Viper MK IV in particular benefitting the most.
