Inverse happened to me; Type-9 jammed by a Beluga. Thankfully i was smart enough to disconnect before i got blown to bits and sent right back to a sidewinder.
Take that as a free tip; if you get stuck in a mailsot you can disconnect (its not like combat logging or anything and is obviously not hurting or annoying anyone)
