This was the first Thargoid I ever encountered. Was on my way to the Pleiades Nebula and went into a USS. There was what looked like an Imperial Cutter, torn to shreds in a field of debris, and the thing came floating straight at me. Scared the hell out of me, I shot it, and just barely escaped from that encounter.
