Elite Dangerous Wiki:Profanity
 | This is an essay; it contains the advice and/or opinions of one or more Elite: Dangerous Wiki contributors. It is not a policy or guideline, and editors are not obliged to follow it. Please update the page as needed, or discuss it on the Council of Admirals board. |
Profanity on the Elite: Dangerous Wiki is only allowed in specific cases. If the profanity does not add to the conversation but doesn't do any harm, it is allowed. But if there is too much profanity going on, the topic might be heated and needs to calm down.
In cases where it is not allowed is where the profanity causes a negative impact to the comment the user is responding to. Nor is it allowed to use profanity where it causes aggression or a bad atmosphere.
However, profanity is only allowed in talk pages.
