Sure can but watch the weight of the ship and the heat produced. Clean drives have lower multiplier but allow slightly more weight (~2T) and much, much less heat. You want drive distributerss in order to almost negate the reduction the minimum mass.

Courier is the best ship for these thrusters as it is 15T lighter than the Viper and Eagle(s), hull mass 35T vs. 50T. 67.4T is the minimum mass (DD lvl 5 w/ drive distributers) so that 15T means a lot!

Imperial Eagle runs at 672 and boosts at 896 m/s, Viper is 717 and 896, and the Courier is 627 and 851 m/s. All ships below the minimum mass for these figures, so this is the max speed you can get
