Cutter can have 10k shields that's almost twice as much than the Corvette get. Corvette may be great but it will run out of ammo on PA builds before the shields of the cutter' s shields be destroyed if a player knows how to use it. In terms of combat and survivability,  I will always use my cutter over the corvette at haz res sites or conflict zones in wings, or SOLO in pvp its may not do the dps the corvette does and it also has a fat ass and turns slow, but you can tank dmg for friends or survive long enough to deal with the enemies one by one before your shields hits half way.
