I was very surprised as well and didn't know what to do. But after playing 3 more days NPCs tried to intredit me dozens of times. Now It's more of an annoyance than danger. I haven't failed once and I think only Type 7 + ships might not be able to get out. My Type 6 without best thrusters had no problem with them.
