I'm MysticalArchAngel, the guy you're apparently having an edit war with. I'm sorry, but why did you block me? Did I insert any false information or made any edits contradictory to the Elite canon in order to deserve being blocked? I do not believe so.

About the Elite timeline -> I did not change any information, apart from correcting some typos. All I did was improve the page's look. I hope you understand that the information has not been tampered with. I am going to undo your undoing of my edits. Please do not prolong this useless edit war. We both want this wiki to be both aesthetically pleasing and have 100% offical information, right? That's what I thought.

About the 'official names first' impasse -> Yes, GalNet does refer to the Empire and the Federation as so, but a similar thing happens in our world, too. Take the United States, for example. The majority of media uses 'America', the 'United States, or the 'US', while it is nearly never referred to as the 'United States of America', its official name. Wikipedia, however, mentions the 'United States of America' first, and then proceeds to note other "nicknames" or abbreviations, such as the 'US', the 'USA', etc. I hope you now understand why I find mentioning the official name first imperative. However, I am not going to undo your undoing of my edits until you aprove.

About the 'President/Prime Minister' impasse -> There was absolutely no reason whatsoever for you to undo my edits there. I added completely correct information. For the Federation, the President is both the head of state and head of government, while for the Alliance, the President doesn't exert (nearly) any executive power, thus the Prime Minister is the head of government. Also, the title of these political offices are always as follows: "<Function> of <official name of nation>", for example: "President of the Galactic Federation" or "Emperor of the Empire of Achenar". I will not change the titles, but I will add the head of state/government classifications, and I respectfully ask that you do not undo them.

That's about it. Also, I want to sincerely apologize if you feel that I've wronged you or this wiki. I always wish to remain as faithful to the canon information as possible, while supporting open collaboration and polite ways of resolving edit conflicts such as the one between us. Again, I apologize. From now on, I hope we can consider each other friends on this wiki.
