Just my 2 cents here, if you're in anything bigger than an eagle, and you head back to the station with 50k creds from BHing, you're doing it wrong.  with a cobra (with rebuy cash in hand o/c) i woudn't head back to the station with anything less than a few million.  unless you really like the travelling between hazres/compnav and your station of choice, i would save more bounties up, since you won't get interdicted for having them like you would with cargo.  I usually figure: the cost of the base ship you're currently in now not including upgrades * 1.5 OR if you hull is below 75% (which means you're taking on too big of prey to begin with) OR (if you really still use ammo) you are out of ammo for your missles/multi/ w/e is when it's time to take a pit stop.
