Yeah, I'm with you guys.  This system is retarded.  I'll hold my hands up, I made an absolutely stupid mistake, I was in a RES taking down pirates, got a little tired and forgot to check my targets.  I took down a dude in a Python who happened to be one of the good guys, ie. NOT a pirate.  Ok, like I said stupid mistake on my part.  Games gives me a 6,800Cr bounty with a 6 day expiry time.

"Jesus" I thought, better to let them kill me than wait that long to re-enter the syste (it has a good RES in it).  So off I go back to the station, fly in at high speed with silent mode on to prevent the cops from scanning me, buy sidewinder, launch, get shot down.

Bounty is now "dormant" and can only be detected by cops who kill me and send the bounty back to dormant every time.  WTF???  How is this fair.  I would rather they just increased the fine, even by a really huge amount, that have the game prevent me from using the system for a full fucking week!

FD should be told that people play games FOR FUN!!  Not for punishment.
