Depends on your weapon layout and if you buy it in a system with discount or not. But 22-25 mil would be a start to fit some good weapons and maybe a 5C frameshiftdrive, that is enough to start hunting in RES and be able to go to different places, the original drive is very limited with only about 7LJ range.

Don't forget that the insurance also is about 1-2 millions so calculate that in as well.

My FAS sits currently at around 53 mil, and is not fully upgraded, espacially the powerplant will cost a lot. 6A is 16mil.
