Sorry to say, but a comparison at that amount does not say anything. With this little money to spend on Upgrades, the inititial price difference of 5 Mil Comes into account way too big.

You have 4-9 Millions to spend on the Python (depending on Discount) but have 9-14 Millions to spend on the FdL (depending on Discount)

At this rate, this amount makes too much of a difference for the outfitting, that it will not do the ships themself any real justice at all. Go up to a 100 Mil Budget where the initial difference of 5 mill will no longer come into such big consideration and the comparison would make sense.
