I would have to argue for most smuggling runs, the Cobra is still the king of the ships. The cargo capacity isn't really much to write home about compared to most other ships, buuut...

It's fast as hell, so if you lose an interdiction, you can run away from anything else in the game.

And, it fits on a small landing pad, so the annoyance of the ONE medium landing pad on an outpost being taken by some AFK player isn't an issue.

Even post-nerf, you can still make incredible money flying a Cobra smuggling.
