I concur with this. Python suffers only in the FSD (full haul with fully loaded A parts) department a bit. For smuggling you need/want access to medium pad outposts, which means ASP or Python really. Python can outfit considerable weapons and shields (about 800 MJ) and still have the speed to boost out of range of a fresh scan, 18-15LY jumps, fuel scoop and 184ish cargo. I highly recommend it. I call this ship my 'mission ship' as its built to be a reputation bomb.
