Talk:Federal Assault Ship/@comment-109.91.37.195-20151009080515

Well I purchased my F.A.S. in LHS 20 (price discount 10% or 15% cant remember)

Anyway i dont regret the purchase, its hardpoints are decent, on distance or good angled short range you can easily hit with all 4 weapons (using fixed weapons).

If we would compare the F.A.S. to the closest price ranged ship it would be either Federal Dropship or Imperial Clipper.

Lets consider:

the Federal Dropship is a multipurpose ship which has decent firepower, drawback: its dificult to handle.

the Imperial Clipper is a multipurpose ship with identical firepower, drawback: crappy hardpoints for fixed weapons.

If anyone here likes Federal ship design or has any plans to grind standing for any Faction consider this.

Unless you want to fly Vulture until you get to the 50 million (or 80mill with abit of outfitting) you can consider the Assault ship as valid option.

well last but not least: If anyone hasnt realized this by now federal ships are meant to be used with fixed weapons ;)
