Info for fellow traders:

To see a serious increase in profit compared to a fully fletched Lakon Type 7, go for FSD A, rest class D. Give up shields for cargo, no weapons. For the full 292t plus cargo money aim for 67 Mio.  To include insurance go for 70 Mio (less fo alpha/beta players). The ship's power plant has a huge capacity and allows constant boost to a station or dock. 340 max speed with boost. As the ship handles rather agile for its size there's no real need for further upgrades (as a trader).

The reason for taking the extra risk and flying w/o shields: fuel costs will cut deep into your profit, especially when jumping close to max range - the same three-point-route I fly went up from 3,000 CR (Type 7) to 41,000 CR fuel cost (mainly due to a 14.5 LY jump).

Paying that sum still earns you a faster profit than using a fuel scope (and sacrificing cargo space). Making about 3.1 Mio / h atm. compared to about 2.2 Mio /h with Lakon 7.
