What I am realy wondering about is when you sell your data to an outpost or station, will you get much more if you bring back data of lets say a fully scanned system 2000ly away..or does distance not have any inpact on its value? I mean would for example system data from the California nebula or the Witchhead nebula be just as valuable as lets say a system wich is only 25LY away?? I am still a novice explorer myself (i'm flying an Adder with fuelscoop and auto-maintenence-unit) and I got the scout rank..almost Surveyor. I am hoping any of you veteran explorers who went thousands of LY already can answer this question for me. :)
