Elite Dangerous needs a serious rework in terms of information availability to players, especially the ability to remotely check/search if specific cargo/weapons/ships are available in the local area (even if its only system wide). I am a bit spoiled by EVE and the insane level of detail in the deliberately open information available on the galaxy market (plus the in-game trading/contract system) but Elite could certainly do with copying at least some basic functionality out of this for trading and outfitting
(It would also give explorers a supplemental source of income by offering players a small credit reward for visiting multiple areas each hour and handing in times market information to each area as they land/dock with each broker).
Planetside 2 and EVE had to learn the give players good information hard way it looks like Elite Dangerous will as well.
On the other hand its still only a month after release so its a situation we can put up with for now.
