The jump range of the sidewinder is not accurate. My sidewinder with 4 tons of cargo and weapons has 7.69ly. This of course is not with stock equipment, the engines are lighter than stock, sensors are lighter, life support is lighter than stock and shields are lighter than stock. Without cargo I can reach 8.71ly, with my weapons. If you wish to know which weapons I tested with they are burst lasers, gimballed. The engines are 0.5 tons.
