The Heart Within is a machinima style video set in the Elite Dangerous universe.

It's a mixture of cinematic action, thriller, horror and drama. It features 13 uniquely voiced characters and 5 locations.

The premise of it is loosely related to the "Bug Killer" story plot and its main protagonist Carl Burrows. It explores the eerie rumours about the true purpose of Thargoid abductions.

🔧 Nerd things: Recorded at 3440x1440@60 in HDR (RTX HDR) with Nvidia app. Ultra graphics settings. Camera work done with both xbox controller and mouse. VR techniques were used for the hyperspace jump shots. Some compositing was done to achieve unique perspective. Created without any special account or early or free access (only available to streamers, not other creators). I have been playing ED for a while now, mostly grinding for things to record them and then scouting for locations.
