File:The Complete Azimuth Saga (Elite Dangerous)

Sometimes the news isn't the best way to tell a story. Sometimes you need the benefit of hindsight to see the sweep of a narrative, and to understand causes and consequences. This is the complete story of the Azimuth Saga, a story that has affected us all. Some details have necessarily been omitted. My particular apologies in this respect to the Sosong system, the Admirals and Joy Senne. 00:00 Introduction 01:30 The First War 03:20 The Thargoids Return 08:58 The Mycoid Virus 16:57 Discovery in the Coalsack 23:03 The Hesperus and the Proteus 25:37 The Alexandria and Hyford's Cache 27:52 Project Seraph 36:45 Cornsar and Tri-Hammer 40:23 What the Alexandria Revealed 44:48 The Witch 50:37 The Proteus Weapon Fires 54:48 The Coming of the Stargoids 57:24 The Way Forward Thanks to @BeetleJude for voice and artwork @ToCoSo for the music https://soundcloud.com/tomcook @lcunofoollikeone for one very particular shot that's included in this film @CanonnMedia for the comprehensive lore https://canonn.science/game-lore/ The Elite Dangerous Wiki which is a great place to check lore https://elite-dangerous.fandom.com/wiki/Elite_Dangerous_Wiki If there are adverts in the middle of the video, then sorry: it's quite a long video, so I hope they won't be too intrusive.
