Discovery Scanners

Main article: Discovery Scanner

Basic discovery scanners are used to discover and examine stellar bodies. To scan them you must first discover them by flying close enough for them to pop up on your navigation panel as "Unknown" then you target it and point your ship towards it and it will scan the body. Music will play while scanning takes place and when the scan is complete a ping like sound will signify it.

Hatch Breaker Limpet Controller

Hatch Breaker Limpet Controllers are used to program blank Limpets, they only work if the target's shields are down however they have a siphon chance which depends on the rating of the controller. Ammunition takes up cargo space and is required.

Auto Field-Maintenance Unit
