Shields
Shields protect the ship from damage.

Shield Cell Bank
Shield Cell Banks are used to load the shields via precharged batteries.

Cargo Racks
Cargo Racks are used to hold cargo in your ship.
Discovery Scanners
Discovery Scanners are used to discover and examine stellar bodies. To scan them you must first discover them by flying close enough for them to pop up on your navigation panel as "Unkown" then you target it and point your ship towards it and it will scan the body. Music will play while scanning takes place and when the scan is complete a ping like sound will signify it.
Hatch Breaker Limpet Controller
Hatch Breaker Limpet Controllers are used to program blank Limpets, they only work if the target's shields are down however they have a siphon chance which depends on the rating of the controller. Ammunition takes up cargo space and is required.
Auto Field-Maintenance Unit
The Auto Field-Maintenance Unit is used to repair damage to the hull and some subsytems during flight. It uses "ammunition".
Standard Docking Computer
The Standard Docking Computer is used to automatically dock at stations. Use with caution.
