Template:Organizationinfobox The Lords of Restoration are a secret cabal of Imperial political and military figures. The group's existence was uncovered by the Affiliated Counter-Terrorism unit in February 3308 after the Omega Grid communication network was cracked and independent pilots decrypted a number of files from the network's beacons. It is believed that the Lords of Restoration provided extensive support to the Neo-Marlinist Liberation Army, including access to Omega Grid software and training from Darkwater Inc, from the shadows in an effort to eliminate the Imperial Family. In addition, they likely took Emperor Arissa Lavigny-Duval captive at some point in 3307. Currently, ACT is in the process of learning more about the group.

Commander, this is Captain Landau.

The deciphered message from the HIP 290 system revealed the name 'Torquatus', who we believe to be Senator Ursula Torquatus. This is a revelation, since she has avoided all suspicion until now. The fact that she openly identified herself proves that she believed the Omega Grid was totally secure.

Now that our detection strategy is confirmed, we have triangulated signals from a second beacon somewhere in the Saffron system. I have provided another partial cipher key that should apply to its contents. Please continue helping us to track down the NMLA's benefactors.

Darkwater Inc is one of the largest private mercenary groups in the core systems. We now have evidence that it provided military training to NMLA terrorists. Darkwater's employers referred to themselves as the Lords of Restoration, but the significance of this name remains unclear.
