Cargo Scoop

Revision as of 14:28, 5 December 2014 by 70.72.236.68 (talk) (Minor spelling, grammatical, and overall pedantic changes to make the stub article flow a little bit better than before. No change to overall meaning of article.)

The Cargo Scoop is a standard piece of equipment mounted to the ship that enables the collection of cargo canisters that are freely floating in space into the cargo bay of the ship.

When the cargo scoop is deployed and a valid cargo canister is selected as the current target, the target schematic is replaced with scoop helper interface.

To scoop:

  1. Position the ship so that target cargo is centred in the scoop helper interface.
  2. Fly towards the cargo, ensuring that the representation of the cannister remains centred in the crosshairs.
  3. Reduce speed until movement lines in the scoop helper interface are blue. Failure to correctly align or reduce speed may damage your ship and/or your cargo.
