Guardian Nanite Torpedo Pylon
Template:QuoteThe Guardian Nanite Torpedo Pylon is a remote release launcher hardpoint created by Aegis. Released on February 26, 3310, the Guardian Nanite Torpedo Pylon is specifically designed for assaults on Thargoid Titan motherships, and is ineffective against other targets. It can be purchased at Rescue Megaships.
These torpedoes must be aimed at the thermal vents on a Titan’s hull. A sufficiently large payload of Guardian nanites should paralyse these vents. The mothership will be forced to discharge the colossal heat it generates by exposing its inner regions to space, providing sensitive targets for more conventional weaponry to inflict damage.
