Credits
Credits (abbreviated as "CR") is the universal currency in Elite: Dangerous. Everything bought, sold, or paid for is valued and calculated in credits. Every commander uses the Bank of Zaonce in order to earn money as that's the most accepted bank in populated space. Players can check their current credit balance and total credits accumulated by viewing the STATUS menu of the right hand panel in their ship, or in Starport Services when docked at a station.
