Vista Genomics Seeks Exploration Data From Sanguineous Rim

File:News Image on foot 2.png

A new exploration initiative from Vista Genomics is aiming to gather data to help assess genetic diversity across the Sanguineous Rim.

To help celebrate the release of the new ship-launched exploration vessel, Faulcon DeLacy has partnered with Vista Genomics in the initiative, calling on independent pilots to help test the Nomad’s capabilities across extreme terrain.

Frank Endis, Chief of Design commented in a statement issued to Vox Galactica that “most exploration efforts naturally head towards the centre of the galaxy. We’re keen to help Vista collect more data from systems on the fringes of the Milky Way.”

Pilots taking part in the initiative will receive a bonus payout for any biological samples found throughout the Sanguineous Rim.

All interested explorers and exobiologists should head to HD 232819 and register at The Magrathea research megaship before heading out into the black. Template:GalNetLinks

Vista Genomics Exobiology Initiative Deemed a Success

File:News Image Nomad.png

Vista Genomics has confirmed the successful conclusion of its exobiology initiative across the Sanguineous Rim.

In partnership with Faulcon DeLacy, both confirmed that pilots not only secured vast quantities of exobiological data needed to investigate genetic diversity across the region but also helped confirm that the Nomad improved planetary exploration.

Chief Engineer Frank Endis, who supervised the campaign for Faulcon DeLacy, reported that the Nomad “allowed for more efficient exobiology sampling and research to be conducted than previously experienced by explorers.”

“The new Mk II Biological Scanner and Mk II Sensor modules that the Nomad provides also offered explorers and exobiologists more productive journeys thanks to their enhanced range capabilities.” he added.

With the trials now concluded, Faulcon DeLacy hopes that the Nomad will quickly become a key feature of long-range exploration and exobiology expeditions for those who own ships that can equip the vessel.

The Nomad is currently available for exclusive purchase initially and will transition to standard shipyard inventories at a later date. Template:GalNetLinks

Terri Tora Released by October Consortium in Surprise Move

File:News Image Bio Bloom.png

Terri Tora, the xenobiologist credited with triggering widespread interest in the HIP 87621 system, has been released.

Tora, who has been held in custody by October Consortium since her disappearance in late 3311, was investigating rumours of a significant xenobiological discovery when she stowed away on a Consortium megaship. She was later discovered in HIP 87621, having circumnavigated the system’s permit lock, and incarcerated on charges of corporate espionage.

Speaking directly to Vox Galactica, Lexi October said that Tora had been “fully cooperative in questioning” following the security breach and recognised that recent events leading to the signing of the Accords had meant it was time to release her without further charges.

Tora issued the following statement:

“Well, that was an adventure I can tell you! I am relieved to be finally free and to know that things worked out in the end. It was a scary situation to be in.”

“I hadn’t considered the ramifications of my actions until fighting broke out across the surrounding systems. However, the supposed value of Radicoida wasn’t my concern - my only motive was knowledge. Discoveries like this aren’t meant to be kept a secret!”

Tora was met by colleague Professor Frank Raddix, who initially tipped off pilots about her absence, at Exogene Sciences. The pair then departed under October Accord escort. Template:GalNetLinks

Multiple corporations have supported the recent announcement of Colonia’s tenth anniversary celebrations.

Vox Galactica business correspondent Marlon Royce spoke to several representatives of major names from the technology, transport, mining and tourism industries.

“Colonia stands as a beacon of human achievement in deep space,” commented Naomi Landseer, chairperson of Lakon Spaceways. “Lakon Spaceways is synonymous with success out in the black, and we applaud the continued success of Colonia’s people.”

Meanwhile, Jaques and the Colonia Council gave Vox Galactica more behind-the-scenes information about planned festivities.

“It’s high time the corporations in the core systems showered us with some love and attention,” Jaques said enthusiastically from his bar. “So, we’re inviting them to help us pull together the first ‘Colonia Fair’ - a galaxy-sized exposition that’ll include exhibitions, activities, performances, films, art, food… and plenty of libations!”

Vox Galactica understands that preparations are underway for a massive transportation effort of commodities and rare goods from across the core systems to Colonia, with details of the logistics to be announced soon. Template:GalNetLinks

Colonia Calls for Assistance as Celebrations Get Underway

File:News Image megaship 2.png

Colonia is hosting a tenth anniversary celebration of its founding, beginning with a supply initiative located at where its historic story began.

A fleet of cargo megaships provided by Brewer Corporation has arrived at Facece to support a massive logistics operation to transport commodities and rare goods from across the core system to Colonia.

“Facece is the system where my story began,” remarked Jaques in an interview with Vox Galactica. “What better way to start the celebrations than to launch them from the very same system!”

Colonia Council member Magen Wolf lauded the campaign, adding:

“This huge effort will allow us to create a showcase for Colonia and its history and boost the economies of Colonia and surrounding systems with the potential to establish a megamarket.”

Councillor Giselle Kingspear noted that “it’s worth mentioning that we have eight Engineers established throughout the Colonia Region ready to provide services for independent pilots. We’re hoping to see a lot more business heading their way soon.”

All interested pilots should register at Peters Base at Facece before supporting the delivery of commodities and rare goods. Template:GalNetLinks

The initiative to support Colonia’s tenth anniversary celebrations has been met with partial success according to organisers.

The large fleet of cargo megaships provided by Brewer Corporation stationed in Facece have been loaded and their long trip to Colonia has begun, transporting the commodities and rare goods supplied.

“The response from pilots across the core systems to our call for assistance has been appreciated,” said Magen Wolfe, speaking on behalf of Colonia Council.

“We’re still on track to make this anniversary celebration a success for the region.”

Meanwhile Jaques, via a holovid message to Vox Galactica, joked “Well, well. With the smaller number of rare goods about to hit the market it looks like my Quinentian Still will remain the favourite rare commodity in Colonia!”

With the megaship fleet now on their way, the Council is expected to issue a further call for assistance from available pilots to aid with the distribution of commodities and rare goods across regional markets within the next week. Template:GalNetLinks

Colonia Plans to Distribute Celebration Commodities

File:Market.png

With huge numbers of commodities transferred from Brewer Corporation’s megaship fleet to Jaques Station, preparations for the tenth anniversary are in full swing.

Colonia Council is calling for aid with the second logistical phase of the celebrations by helping to distribute the commodities across the region.

“We’ve been up against the clock bundling all these commodities into cargo packages! All citizens in Colonia are excited to take part in the celebrations and it’s up to us to supply them,” said Jaques in a press conference held at his bar.

“The station crew have done an amazing job and are exhausted, but we’re not done yet!”

Colonia Council member Magen Wolf thanked pilots’ efforts to date, adding: “The success of these celebrations has been largely down to the incredible pilot community and we’re asking for one final push.”

All independent pilots willing to aid in the final stages of the anniversary preparations should head to Jaques Station and distribute curated commodity packages to designated markets in Carcosa, Einheriar, Randgnid, and Asura. Template:GalNetLinks
