Interstellar Initiative
Interstellar Initiatives are an upgraded form of Community Goals. They feature a series of in-game events that play out over the course of a month with multiple phases and an evolving narrative. Some Interstellar Initiatives will have a lasting effect on the galaxy, and can add a new module or Synthesis recipe, affect the infrastructure of a system, or even alter the balance of power between the superpowers[1]
Overview
The first Interstellar Initiative, "Bridging the Gap", began on April 29, 3305. The minor faction Zende Partners of the Zende System announced plans to construct a ferry Megaship between the Core Systems and one of five systems in Guardian space. The selected system would also gain a permanent outpost.
- Phase One: Commencement
- April 29, 3305 - May 6, 3305
- Pilots were invited to vote for one of five candidate systems with Guardian Structures to serve as the terminus for the ferry and site of the outpost.
