Alien growths

Alien Growths have been found on Merope 5 C, a planet within the system that the Unknown Artifacts were pointing at. These growths appear to be erupting from the ground, semi-organic in nature, yielding meta-alloys when broken down to constituent compounds. They were mistakenly termed 'barnacles' by an unknown party at GalNet, a term which absolutely does not apply to these spiked erupta as their resemblance is lacking.
