Usage
Wikimedia Commons has media related to Lua error in Module:Commons_link at line 80: attempt to index field 'wikibase' (a nil value)..
Use this template only if the trademarked material is in the public domain or is under a free license: for example, if it is ineligible for copyright status, or has been specifically released by the owner under a free-content license, e.g. CC BY-SA. In most cases, the {{non-free logo}} template message should be used instead. Text that explicitly identifies the owner of the trademark should optimally be added to the image description page. See also Wikipedia:Logos.
Example of appropriate use:
- File:Los Angeles Times.svg consists only of short text in a certain font, so it almost certainly does not meet the threshold of originality for copyright protection in the United States. Nevertheless, it is still subject to trademark protection.
- File:The ASF Oak Leaf Logo (2025).svg is licensed under the permissive Apache License 2.0. However, it is a registered trademark of The Apache Software Foundation.
- File:Wikipedia-logo-v2.svg is licensed under CC BY-SA 3.0 Unported. It is a registered trademark of the Wikimedia Foundation.
