Type-7 Transporter
The Lakon Type-7 is a larger and more heavily armed freighter than the Type-6 Transporter by the same company, and is the typical step upwards from the Type-6 when pursuing a career in trading. The Type-7 is more capable of defending itself than its smaller sibling, but is not designed with combat in mind.
The Type 7 Transporter is Lakon Spaceway's medium size transport vessel. This is a new model, released in 3290. It's slow but moves a lot of tonnage for its size.

Many pilots find themselves disappointed when attempting to land this ship at smaller stations known as Outposts; it may only land at larger stations, and this downside must be taken into consideration for any trader looking to use it.
Repair costs on the Type-7 are extremely low making trading without shields a reasonable strategy if you can avoid combat along the way.

Outfitting
All ships are highly customizable through outfitting. Each outfit slot has a maximum class that can be put into that slot. Apart from classes, outfits also have a quality rating A-I, and other characteristics such as energy drain, armor piercing, etc.
