The Occupied Escape Pod can be found within Salvageable Wreckage signatures and in Points of Interest on the surfaces of planets and moons.

Considered illegal. If your ship is scanned by any sort of galactic police, you will be fined. They can be sold at Black Markets.

Bulletin Boards in surface ports sometimes give missions to retrieve Occupied Escape Pods.
