... and no, fuel limpets are a retarded idea to bring up here. Not only does that mean being forced to give up a module slot for the limpet controller, cutting into your ships ability to perform it's task (i), now you also have to let room for those pesky limpets which, for some moronic reason, cannot be stored in the limpet controller themselves (at least for a basic amount to get you started; 4 would seem like a good number for that)

I swear, whenever FDev looked at a game concept thinking, what would make the most sense in terms of balance and rewarding game design, they always said "nay! - we are doing it the opposite way", to make their game into even more of a sore... it's either that, or they are really THAT inept.

i) the limitations are already severely restrictive as is. Cargo space overall should be re-balanced, imo; and geared towards "volume" rather than their stupid "every thing is equally heavy" item-system (which, yet again, lets the word "retarded" come to mind...). -> You want to haul a whole lot of gold? - well, it fits in well in large quantities relative to volume, but knocks down your jump range like nothing else, thanks to the increased weight/volume; in turn your sales-profit/volume would be off the charts. Or go with grain instead, have less problems with pirates (I am still not sure, if the code is sensitive in that matter at all... after all, retardation (coupled with lazyness) seems to be FDevs main design principle here...), for a mundane, save income and stable business. Right now, many goods, including the most important ones (people still need food, no??), are largely unprofitable, because of the limiting cargo space. And yes, that includes the big ships also (which, paradoxically, have a much lower cargo hold per ship size than smaller ones...).
