TBF this thing kinda sucks at combat without engineering (and yes, it *is* supposed to be a combat ship just as much as it is a trader, one look at it will tell you that), the shields are too flimsy and somehow worse than a ship as tiny and pathetic as the Vulture, and even with engineered prismatics and 3 engineered SCBs they barely reach a measly 1500mj - you can reach that on an *Assault Ship*, which isn't even supposed to have shields. 

It seems enhancing the thrusters and firepower seems to be the way to go with this ship - kill everything before your wet paper shields tear, and some engineered HRPs are also useful.
