You can sacrifice one of the smaller cargo racks for an ADC if you want, you're not losing too much cargo space for doing so.

But personally I'd recommend getting used to manually landing it, it handles very well and the only downside is its poor deceleration. 

You should also max out the Hull and go without shields to max out the cargo space,  it's agile enough in Supercruise to get out of most sticky situations, but the Hull reinforcement should help you survive and boost away if you get interdicted.

An ideal build is 4A Power Plant, 4A FSD, 4A thrusters, Military grade composite Hull, 4A Power distributor.
