Couriermission are so boring, I am doing Empire rankup with my pimped Corvette - only doin the kill Pirate X missions (I stack them up - yesterday I fought 4 Pirate Corvettes at the same time) - I even do the wing-missions alone (most of the time 3 specops Vultures and 1 specop Fer de Lance - they are insanely tough - with cheatingly OP shields). 8 to 9 missions take half an hour and give you 40 to 50% reputation.
