Corvette has 2 unused utility mounts on it's belly, so Corvette was initially designed to have 10 utility slots, just like FdL among medium ships. However, nowadays Corvette only uses 8. Also, do you remember that mistake, when FDev announced Corvette to come with 2H 3L 2M hardpoints, and it was swiftly called a mistake and it was later said that Vette will come with 2H 1L 2M 2S? Makes one wonder if FDev had a certain view of what that ship should be, or they simply tweaked it in the end....

Still though, those 2S hardpoints make me sad. They are useless, unless engineered, as small hardpoints in general lack damage. If mediums were put there instead, and smalls were to be located on sides, then our huge and mediums would converge greatly and be a really nice fixed combo. 

Anyway that ship is good, but it just feels like it is quite mess in terms of design.
