I would say that being as they seem to be an ammonia based life form, have parts you can pick up which are corrosive to your ship or a station, and they fire corrosive missiles at us, then corrosion is not something that worries a Thargoid. 

The most effective single weapon that I have found against Thargoid interceptors is the Guardian Shard cannon. Trouble is, it's close range. About 1.7km max, with a big falloff due to shot spread. But up close the bug really grumbles when he gets hit by  4 x size 3s
