"Tbh I think even if this had a med hardpoint the python would still be superior." - Yes yes we know the Python is superior. The difference is, Type-7 is ~17 millions, Python is ~57 millions. Would the Type-7 have a medium hardpoint, it'd make a decent option between the AspX and the Python. So the wish for a medium instead of 2 small hardpoints is valid.
